When I don't have Hawk with me, I'm invisible in public... no one notices me. Actually, I'm invisible even when he is with me, because everyone gawks at him.
Today we walked around the block, and we stopped in front of the Army/Navy store to watch the world race by. I want Hawk to get more comfortable with the craziness of New York City. So I had a plan that we just grab a spot on the sidewalk, and just relax. He relaxed enough, where after a few minutes of standing, watching people walk by whispering "Greyhound", he assumed the sphinx pose where he lied down on his stomach.
