We both walked in the door together and were surprised to be welcomed home by Hawk! Why were we surprised, you ask? Because Rachel gated Hawk into the back bedroom before she left for work! Apparently, he knocked down the gate in our absence. But Pharaoh was still in one piece, and was standing right next to Hawk when we came home.
We decided that we could trust them home alone together, without needing the gate.
